coDiagnostiX version 8.0 and higher work with a different license model than versions before. The billing units for coDiagnostiX are stored on the dongle, thus, there may be billing units on the customers dongle left from older versions of coDiagnostiX. Such old units are no longer supported by coDiagnostiX 8.0 and higher but can be converted into new coDiagnostiX units.

By default, such transfer of units is done online and requires an active internet connection.

Select Help (?) > License Management > Transfer Units from the main menu to start the wizard. Specify the number of units to be transferred and send the request. The new coDiagnostiX units will be provided online as an automatic license update and a user information notice will show up.

This code needs to be forwarded to coDiagnostiX 1st level support. They will request the corresponding smartkey from 2nd level support. On the customers PC, enter the SmartKey received from 2nd level support into the License Management.
