The license and copy protection system.

coDiagnostiX is equipped with a hardware copy protection device, the eToken dongle. To run the software, a dongle with a valid license must be plugged in. The software cannot be started without a valid dongle. The coDiagnostiX license management is the most important interface between the hardware dongle device and the coDiagnostiX software. The license management not only allows to display all the features and the remaining units on the dongle, it also allows to add new features and units by entering smartkeys in the license update field.
