Problems with Orange Dental CBCT scanners (black gonyX pins)
If a customer's using a CBCT scanner from Orange Dental, they often have a problem with gonyX pins showing completely black instead of white which leads to a non-working automatic detection in coDiagnostiX.
Please tell the customer to reach out to the Orange Dental customer service, they are able to fix this problem. Please tell them not to be easily put off by the Orange Dental service team.
The fix is usually only a small addition to a configuration file of the scanner software, but this has to be done by a Orange Dental technician to make sure nothing is harmed during the process because the scanner software is changed. We can make the change as well in an exceptional case, but we need at least a written confirmation of the customer if we have to do it, so we're not accountable for any damage.
Here are the instructions we were able to receive:
Open file “PaXDuo3D.ini” (C:\PaXDuo3D\user_settings\) and add the following lines at the end of it
[INPUT_DICOM_INFO_CT] 0028_0100=16 0028_0101=15 0028_0102=14

In der Datei "PaXDuo3D.ini" (C:\PaXDuo3D\user_settings\) muß am Ende der .ini Datei noch folgender Eintrag noch zusätzlich hinzugefügt werden: > > [INPUT_DICOM_INFO_CT] > 0028_0100=16 > 0028_0101=15 > 0028_0102=14 > > Mit freundlichen Grüßen > Christian Lehnert > OrangeDental
