Implant database
The implant database is a core part of coDiagnostiX. It contains all implants, sleeves, abutments and virtual teeth available in the software and it is updated regularly through the online updater.
Since the implant database has a similar structure like the patient database, it is sometimes possible, that errors occur and damage the implant database. This never affects implants that were already planned, because they are stored in the patient dataset separately. But in these cases, it is necessary to repair or replace the implant database.
The implant database consists of two folders, MasterDB
and MasterDBUpdate
.
They are located in C:\ProgramData\coDiagnostiX\
.
Use the Windows Explorer to open the corresponding folder and rename the two folders (e.g. add a timestamp).
When this is successfully done, the next step is to download the newest complete implant database from the internet. On the customer's PC, open the browser and download one of the following files, matching their used coDiagnostiX version.
When the download is finished, start the file and follow the instructions to replace the MasterDB automatically. This does not require any administrative rights.
