How to install or repair the eToken driver

Sometimes, it's necessary to reinstall the eToken driver, especially if a dongle is connected to the computer but the computer doesn't recognize it. Open the Windows Explorer and navigate to the eToken folder in the coDiagnostiX Program Files path:

• 32-Bit Windows C:\Program Files\Straumann\coDiagnostiX\eToken.
• 64-Bit Windows C:\Program Files (x86)\Straumann\coDiagnostiX\eToken.

There are two installation files, one for 32-Bit systems and one for 64-Bit systems. Choose the file suitable for the installed Windows version and run it to start the installation.

• 32-Bit Windows PKIClient-x32-5.1-SP1.msi
• 64-Bit Windows PKIClient-x64-5.1-SP1.msi

If it's unknown, which system type is used, open the Windows control panel and double click on System. The system type is displayed either behind or below the Windows version.

It is mandatory to unplug any eToken during the installation. After the installation window opens up, follow the instructions on the screen to finish the installation.
