====== coDiagnostiX Configuration Folder ======

coDiagnostiX stores all settings and data, the Implant Database and the default patient database in the Configuration Folder.

The configuration folder is shared with all users of the computer and enables coDiagnostiX to run without administrator rights on Windows Vista/7/8.


===== How to open the Configuration Folder with coDiagnostiX =====

If coDiagnostiX is working, you can open the Configuration Folder by going to\\
''coDiagnostiX Management > Support and Help > Support > Open settings folder'' and move one folder up (to "Straumann").

If coDiagnostiX isn't working or there are other problems, here's the location of the Configuration Folder depending on the Windows version used

  * Windows XP \\ ''C:\Documents And Settings\All Users\Application Data\Straumann\''
  * Windows Vista, 7 and 8 \\ ''C:\ProgramData\Straumann\''

**Please note:**\\
By Default, the folders ''Application Data'' (XP) and ''ProgramData'' (Vista/7/8) are hidden folders on new or untouched Windows installations.

To see them, you have to enable "hidden files and folders" or enter the folder name manually in the adress bar of Windows Explorer.
